Housed in a beautifully restored Porfirian mansion with a lush courtyard, it offers genuine spice levels and is a favorite for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine. Galanga Thai House holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction in the 2026 Michelin Guide, one of the few non-Mexican, non-European restaurants recognized by the guide in the city. Chef Somsri Raksamran sources ingredients partly from the restaurant's own farm in Hidalgo to keep the Thai cooking close to authentic.
